Alexa Algorithm Update Completed
Everton | Aug 15, 2007 | View Comments
After seeing my Alexa rank go south over the last month or so, it seems as though whatever change Alexa made to their algorithm has been completed, as my Alexa Rank has returned to its old levels.
The sudden change in my Alexa Rank seemed to coincide with the launch of the official Alexa toolbar, Sparky. What I think has happened is that sufficient users have now installed the Sparky toolbar to allow Alexa to calculate ranks ‘correctly’.
If you haven’t installed the Sparky Alexa toolbar, I’d encourage you to do so now, as well as encouraging your readers to do so, as this will almost certainly help to increase your Alexa Rank.
