Halo 3

I just can’t wait for September 25th and the launch of Halo 3 to come around.  I really think this game is going to be something else, although I do worry that because of the extremely long development cycle, Bungie might actually end up over-engineering the game.

Anyway, at the bare minimum I will be able to drool over the stunning graphics.  Just take a look at the latest screenshots on Paul Thurrott’s site.  The Halo 3 screenshots look so good I still can’t believe these are in-game shots.

  • My 14 year old is so hot and bothered for this game. I played Halo all the way through and Halo 2 about halfway through. I have to admit, I don't see what the fuss is about.
    When I have the free time, I'm looking forward to picking up a copy of Bioshock and playing that.

  • @K-Net - You better believe that I'm gonna preorder it! I forget where (I think Best Buy US) you can get a bunch of XBL credits if you preorder the game. And so far I don't have any pts and desperately need to unlock the full version of Geometry Wars!
  • The graphics look immense, a few of my friends got to test the Beta version but I never got to have a go!
  • This game will blow you...it's the BEST 'exclusive' xbox title ever! Preorder it if you have not.
  • I have played Halo but not the actual single player game, but there is a side little game I guess you can do player vs. other players. It is fun to do that! I didn't play it on the xbox, but on my computer. The last Halo had a cool ring world, hard to describe! Looks similar to me the new graphics but there does seem to be a lot more detail.

  • Wow, I'm not a gamer either, but even I, living in my little box at the corner of the universe, have heard about Halo. I'm pretty sure it's one of the biggest games out there, with World of Warcraft, and others.

    It's even so special as to get it's own wikipedia page
