Friday Fun: Probably The Best Paper Aeroplane In The World

View Comments August 31, 2007 | Everton

I know this is probably very sad, but after watching the video below I’m going to set aside some time this weekend to make a paper aeroplane!

The origami paper plane looks so cool, I just want to see if I can follow the instructions to see how it flies. If it works really well, hopefully I’ll be able to build one from memory so that I can impress my nephews at Christmas.

I have a sneaky feeling there was some ‘Blue Peter’ action going on in the video, as the plane thrown at the end looks very different….

  • I remember this design from a paper plane book I had as a kid. The tail never staid stable enough. Maybe the trick is to use some heavier paper.
  • That's pretty cool. I'm going to see if I can make one. It would definitely impress my kids hehe.
