Win A $100 Wiki Page From MillionDollarWiki
I’ve been a big critic of the numerous pixel advertising schemes that emerged following the success of the original MillionDollarHomepage. Many of them seemed poorly thought out, and I couldn’t see how any sane advertiser could ever expect to get their money back.
The MillionDollarWiki who have just ordered a review may prove to be different. Read on to learn how you could win a free Wiki page worth $100 and also buy a discounted page.

Rather than offering low value pixels for sale, the MillionDollarWiki is offering Wiki pages for $100 that are guaranteed to be available for a minimum of 15 years. Once a page is purchased, then the Wiki owner can feature anything on that page within reason. Example pages include information about web proxies and podcasts. Given that the pages have to be purchased, I think the majority of the pages will feature information that will hopefully generate income for the Wiki page owner.
This is where I have doubts about how successful the MillionDollarWiki will be. For these Wiki pages to be successful, the owner of the MillionDollarWiki is either going to somehow generate a lot of natural traffic for the site and also lots of Google love. Getting sites like Connected Internet to write about the Wiki will obviously help, but I don’t think this will be enough to push enough traffic to the Wiki pages. I guess the trump card could be if the individual Wiki page owners drive traffic to the site from their other sites, or maybe even run their own PPC campaigns etc. Still I guess for a maximum price of just under $7 a year, it’s a very small outlay.
Once a page is purchased the owner is the only person that can edit the page, so the site is more a multi-user blog than a Wiki. Anything can be loaded onto the page including text, images and videos. You can even supply the site owner with a html file which they will load up for you.

You guys should check out FameWord.com. It’s just got out of beta now. It’s basically the same as MillionDollarWiki, except here you can set up a page for free. You only have to purchase a page if you want to be the sole editor of the page.

He will need lots of link love. I actually emailed him and said he should start offering discounted wiki pages if the buyers give him quality one way backlinks PR5+. Can I win a page for having a good idea?
He told me he is seriously going to consider doing this. I would use my page for mortgage leads, as most all of my sites are mortgage sites!
