		<description>Honestly, I don&#039;t know why everyone is so excited for a google phone.  I mean, in the realm of consumer electronics and consumer software, they are completely untested.

Everything they excel at consists of APIs and services that run on their own hardware, and their own software, and absolutely no customer support/hardware experience.

The only hardware I can think of is their little google machines that they sell to run on your own farm for running a site search on your own site.  However, I know that at the company i work for, everyone hated the box, and ditched it as soon as possible, even though it was already paid for.

Yes, google has some of the brightest minds money can buy, but that does not mean that their first forray into the consumer electronics realm is really anything to be super excited about... unless its completely free.. and runs on magical &#039;ad&#039; juice like all their other projects.  anything less than that, and.. meh.

Oh, and you can be sure it will stay in &#039;beta&#039; almost infinitely.. ala everything else they make.</description>
