Have You Pre-ordered Halo 3 Yet?

Halo 3After harping on about Halo 3 for over two years, it’s almost here. Halo 3 launches in the US on September 25th and in Europe on September 26th.  I’ve ranted about Halo 3 for so long to my friends, that they’ve recently gone out and purchased Xbox 360s, so I’ve already got my team ready for the big launch!

Have you pre-ordered your copy yet?

I haven’t pre-ordered Halo 3, as I’ve had my fingers burnt in the past with pre-orders not arriving until after the launch date. On the day I’m going to stop off at a Dixons or a PC World and pick up a copy.  I’ll try and make sure that I write a few posts in advance as I’m going to be going to be off-line for quite a while I think!

Anybody else out there planning some late-night Halo 3 Xbox Live sessions? If so, then don’t forget to add me (TooMuchi San) to your buddy list, and to leave your gamertag in a comment for other readers.

    Even I have been discussing off late with my friends about Halo 3. One of my friend has already ordered it and it should reach him in a day or two. We are all eagerly waiting for the launch. It should be good fun.

    Already pre-ordered it since Best Buy was giving away 1600Live pts for $5 w/ it. The dagger? In my zeal to redeem the card i rubbed off like 5 characters in the code. ARGH.

    I’m thinking about getting Halo3 for my new XBOX 360, but I haven’t played previous Halo games. I used to be heavily into UT and BF1942 on the PC, so I have some familiarity with FPS, but will I just struggle way too much to keep up with the pros on the console? Advice, please!

    I agree with Everton on this one Jen. If you play through campaign mode, you’ll certainly have a blast, PLUS you’ll learn how to play the game. When you go online with it, your matches will probably be all over the place at first but after ranking goes mainstream with Halo3, you’ll probably end up in a ton of fun matches w/ people closeish to your skill level.
