I’ve also incorporated the widget into my site just this evening.

I’ve been doing research, and the plusses outweigh the negatives so far.

I’m going to keep up on this and see.

Blogrush has made a impact already and as for the customizations it will come very soon and i don’t think it will be long enough when we see the customizations out there to suit your blogs design and not hamper it.
I am happy to say that i visit quite a number of blogs everyday and they all have implemented it

Like Brown, I’m currently undecided. I think over time if I hear that people are getting good traffic from it, I might go ahead and go with it but for me with my site, I’m trying to CUT DOWN on the stuff in my sidebars…not add more on.

I can’t see it being useful for the people that need it the most – those that want traffic to their little blog, I give 7 reasons why I don’t like it on my blog and it. It’s nice to see someone else has similar points about it

I DON’T think it violates Google’s AdSense program.

I believe what Google means by “third-party services such as paid-to-click, paid-to-surf, auto-surf, and click-exchange programs” is programs like 126hits.com — where traffic is generated automatically by just entering a url in your browser and letting it surf automatically between sites. You then earn credits, which is then used up to display your site — also automatically. This is fake traffic, meaning the majority of suers don’t even notice your site.

The other paid-to programs are similar where users get paid in pennies or credits to visit a site.

Blog Rush is simply a link exchange program, which many people do use to build up links.

Blog rush seems good i just added it today. It seems useful like the Sphere widget.

Well its a sad day for me, google disable my adsense account for apparently reasons that seem more about jealousy rather then a real cause. i dono what to do now im thinking about using chitika eminimalls. Maybe time to quit blogging for me. I’m helpless. Can anybody help.

I can’t see how BlogRush is in violation of TOS. It’s no different to any of the slew of content aggregators out there which comply.

Hmmm, food for thought here. Good point, Everton on the potential AdSense TOS conflict, I have to admit I never thought that through at all.

Becuase I live in “tomorrow” … the other side of the International Dateline from Eurpe and North America I got offers on blogRush nearly 48 hours ago. I joined and oput it up … as others have said it looks pretty ugly and I am not impressed at all with the content it is displaying … so down it comes and instead of speculating about it’s acceptability to Google I’m going to email my account rep right now and get the word. I’ll advise if Google has anything definitive to say.

there seems to be the same handful of the blogs populating the list on nearly every site Iâ€™ve visited that features the widget.

that could make sense if there’s one of two big blogs out there that have installed the widget and all the other blogs are having to display their posts.

I've tentatively joined BlogRush but I'm not displaying the widget on a live page yet because it doesn't fit my single-column blog design well at all. Since I have no sidebar for this to reside on, I'd sure like to see a horizontally-oriented version of the widget that could fit into (or just above) the footer.But even beyond the aesthetics, there seems to be the same handful of the blogs populating the list on nearly every site I've visited that features the widget. Hopefully the "randomness" will be refined a bit more in the coming days.

My blog slowed down considerably, considering that I already have CBprosense installed and a lot of adsense ads.

Plus, it looked funky- not nicely integrated.

As you told there is no customization with this widget. This widget will ruin the blog’s design.
