eDealsUK - Get Cashback When You Shop Online

eDealsUKI’ve been amazed that nobody seems to have really developed a good online loyalty scheme. Over the years there have been a few failed attempts, but no-one ever seems to have cracked it.

Although eDealsUK who have ordered this review, doesn’t strictly run a loyalty scheme, I think it offers the next best thing, which is cashback if you shop online via their site.

At first glance eDealsUK looks like a typical shopping directory, with a range of offers from various eTailers. But, the main difference is that rather than keeping all the commission from sales, they give some of their revenue back to shoppers. The prices that you pay for the goods stay the same, you just get cashback for shopping like you normally do, which is paid out of the retailer’s marketing budget. As someone who in the past has negotiated these revenue shares, I know that they can be quite high - anything up to 40-50% for certain types of goods.

You might expect that eDealsUK would feature mainly unknown brands, but many high-street names are listed including Dixons, Tesco, Boots and M&S. Reassuring if you are worried about parting with your money online, as you still shop directly with these merchants, not eDealsUK.

There’s also a handy search engine to help you find products from all of these merchants. So, if you’re looking for Cheap Gadgets, or just a new camera, then you can find them quickly.

The cashback offers aren’t limited to just physical goods. You can also search for instance for Cheap Broadband Deals. There are also a range of free trial offers that don’t require any purchases to be made. This is because some websites pay just for people to register, visit, take free trials etc.  Here are some of the Discount Voucher Codes that are available.

As an incentive to encourage users to register, £5 is given to all registrants. Once you’ve registered all you have to do is try and do as much of your online shopping through eDealsUK as possible, and you could save hundreds of pounds each year.

If you look at the level of cashback you get with Edealsuk it really doesn’t stack up in todays cashback society. 100% cashback is much more common these days (as opposed to the 50% through Edeals).

I use Give Or Take and they give 100% cashback which I choose to donate to charity. You can also choose to take the cashback yourself but there is a £5 annual charge for this I think (where as there is no charge if you donate the cashback to charity).

I also recall reading in Economy Magazine that rebates and cashback don’t spike buying interest as much as it used to. So whether its 15% or 100% it makes no difference to the shopper.

With 50% cashback, edeals simply saves more. But that’s it
