Leo’s view on things is very refreshing when you read so many blogs these days about gadgets and technology. I really couldn’t do without my gadgets completely, as I really do like them, but admittedly reading something like this makes you want to put things in perspective and not let them take over your life – something I try not to do, but this has been a good reminder!

Leo is definitely – the Man. I had a fully cluttered life, every type of gadget you a person could want, and you know what…there’s this antiproductivity paradox that happens, and at the same time stress increases significantly. From reading Leo’s ZenHabits over the past 5 months I’ve reorganised my life, simplified it a lot, and feel more in control, less stress, and am more in the moment with my family. Simplify, simplify, simplify is the key. Thanks Leo for your AWESOME advice!

Leo sounds like a really neat guy. I respect his decision to be simplistic. Too many gadgets = no free time. While I wouldn’t go without a good cell phone, I agree with his other observations. If all those kids in that picture are his, he sure as heck needs all the free time he can get. I also love hearing about blogs that are so successful, which are only a year or so old. That’s inspiring.

Thanks, Leo. Zen Habits is again an encourgement — this time to be strong in my ruthless assesment of how much a really need any particular gadget.

I think we all try to make out our lives to be so complicated, sometimes in part so that we can rationalize getting new (or better) toys. (Oh, you all know who you are!) :-)

Now thats what i call simplicity.But honestly i would be dead without gadgets. As for simcity i used to play that game a long time back and i used to like it.But that were good old days.
Zen all the best for your simplicity and i sincerly wish u stay the same always and Thnx Everton for giving us such a nice interview.For me its the best of the lot till now

Picking ZenHabits as the blog name is apt for a fella who keeps away from gadgets.

But I don’t blame him. I’ve been reading on how the multitudinous frequencies inundating our bodies from all these devices have long and short term impacts.

In my case, I collect gadgets, but for every gadget, I have a gadget that supposedly nullifes its bad frequencies. Hence I shop a lot at toolsforwelleness.com

Even if I’m away from my gadgets, at a friends, or in a bar, restuarant or club I’m still always fiddling with my Nokia N95. I really need to do something about that.

I don’t think I could live without my gadgets heh. Great interview, it’s rare to see someone who isn’t too attached to technology(ouch that hurt).
