MillionDollarWiki: Not A Great Company To Work With

Last month I wrote a sponsored review about the MillionDollarWiki who are selling Wiki pages for $100 each. So far 1035 have been sold, generating $103,500 in income.

Despite this success, I still can’t see what real benefit the MillionDollarWiki site offers to advertisers, and so did several readers who pointed out several flaws in the site’s strategy. As with all reviews I gave my honest opinion, and even though this was made clear to the site owner they have refused to pay me or to honour the offer of a free Wiki page because I did not write a positive review. One of my other friends was also not paid by MillionDollarWiki, even though they wrote a positive review.

This experience has brought to life the disadvantages of selling advertising directly. If the review had been purchased say via ReviewMe I would have got paid. I could have protected myself by taking payment upfront, and I won’t be making this mistake again. However, it has really upset me that a service that has generated $103,500 in income in only a few months couldn’t honor a $250 contract.

The moral of this story? Always make sure you get paid in advance!
