Halo 3: Thumbs Up Or Down??

Halo 3

So, what’s the verdict on Halo 3? The long awaited game has been out nearly a month now, and surely put a strain on many relationships and caused many late nights.

I’ve only had the time to play my copy of Halo 3 twice. The first time wasn’t that inspiring, but the second when I teamed up with a friend to play the campaign on co-op was amazing. I don’t think I’ve been so engrossed in a game since I used to play Age of Empires 2.

There was a total hush in the room, and the only time we spoke was to shout instructions at each other and to cry out for help when the big things with the swords attacked.  My friend was very impressed, which is a big compliment for Halo 3, as he’s never played first-person shooters before.

We managed to complete the first three stages of the campaign before deciding we were too worn out to go any further. I haven’t played the campaign since because I’m hoping that when he finally picks up his copy, as well as a couple of other friends, we’ll be able to pick up where we left over Xbox Live.

I haven’t even attempted playing Halo 3 on Xbox Live yet (Tag: TooMuchi San), but I’m sure the action must be pretty frantic by now. I did have a look to see if anyone I knew was playing, and I think Dennis had logged out a few mins before I logged on. Anybody else playing Halo 3 on Xbox Live?

Halo 3 is fun but it doesn’t put up much compared to the hype that it created before it got released. nevertheless it’s still this year’s best XBOX 360 game.

I havent had luck till now to play Halo 3 but seeing a lot of trailors and videos, I was very impressed on the graphics and gameplay. The reviews the players have gives also goes really well. I dont think there is any reason that someone can point to put our thumbs down. So Its a thumbs up from me, and will soon give a small review after I play it.

Ha halo3’s pretty fun online. I personally don’t think it needed as much hype as it really got.. but I work doing tech support for xbox and almost every call I get now the customer says something like “I just want to play halo 3!” when their console’s broken . Poor saps

I’ve not got Halo 3 yet, I’ve not played the previous games, but want to check it out when I see it for a good bargain price - I’m still busy playing Sega Rally right now.

If anyone here would like to add me to Xbox Live, my gamertag is “Zath78:)
