At work with ost and pst files i advise use-Recovery Toolbox for Outlook,tool helped me many times and as is known it is free,application extract your tasks, emails and contacts from *.ost file, since these files are stored in encrypted format,can help you with this and convert *.ost files to *.pst extension, that can be easily read by any email client, compatible with Microsoft Outlook,will save your contacts, even when *.ost file is corrupted and cannot be opened with other tools,will work under all versions of Microsoft Windows operating system, it supports all Microsoft Office packages and fix ost files.

Use-

import outlook ost,can read *.ost files and extract your mails, contacts, tasks and calendars from it,there are two recovery options: information can be extracted, as a list of files in *.eml, *.vcf and *.txt formats, another option consists in exporting of recovered content into a file in *.pst format, that can be easily read by Microsoft Outlook or any other compatible mail client,allows ost file import, importing ost files into Outlook and repairing *.ost files fast and easy.

I wasn’t aware of the performance issues with RSS. Glad to have got this information before I dived in and started recommending people try using Outlook 2007 for reading them.
