Thanks for the primer on cables Everton. I’ve recently bought a 46″ Samsung LE46M87BD (which is fantastic), and I thought that was all there was to it. Little did I know I’m now immersed knee-deep in learning about players, speakers, amplifiers, and now cables! Its true though that after splashing out on the tv you’re rather missing the point if you don’t support it with equipment that is up to the task…

I hide mostly cables in the walls when make repair in my flat. And Everton rights – if you want to have quality picture and sound you need good cable.
