Smart Sam Goes WHAM!

Nokia launched the E61i to revive interest in the foundering E61 with great success. Samsung probably planned the same for a phone that looked a tad like the E61. The phone Im talking about is the SGH i600. This baby succeds the venerable i320- known as the Blackjack.
I purchased the SGHi600 yesterday to provide me a secondary phone to my Ericsson P990i. It mimics my brother’s sleek SGHi320 in the exterior and is reminiscent of a Lamborgini. Murcielago to be exact. Peek under the hood and discover that its hefty motor boasts bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, HSDPA, 3G and Wi-Fi. How’s that for connectivity.
I salivated.
This is one of slimmest smart phones I ever owned- without looking as boring as one. The device bristles with features including a clickwheel and custom-developed user interface overlay that gets you access to every major feature in a stroke or two. There’s also the standard Windows Mobile screen and a dazzling Card wheel interface that stacks important apps into sequential tabs. Throw in an armada of voice, text, email comms and a formidable multimedia interface and this baby easily takes on boardroom meets to party romps. Did I also mention an easy to use tic-tac shaped QWERTY keyboard?
Seems I just fell out of love with my Ericsson P990i!
