I just want to know how to display top commentators fro current week. Is it some kind of plugin? The same question about the top menu. There is a lot of modifications that are not described well.

Except for the graphical icons, I like the existing theme more. This one exudes a more professional look with it’s clean lines.

The new one… well… it appears to be something a twenteener would run

Overall I like the new look, there are a couple things here and there that I’d tweak but hey – I’m still in the middle of fixing my own stuff! HOWEVER, if I had to pick one thing that was rubbing me the wrong way it’d probably be the foother. I just think it’s too large.

I think you could make the quote look better.
Comments could be improved.. may be with background colors alternate.
As you already said smaller font in the top nav and may be a separator for each link
And most of the points you listed look valid.
