The reason being that it completely opened my eyes to generating revenue by means other than contexual advertising, and actually prompted me to join a couple of them (TNX and Text Link Ads if I recall correctly) and implement their adverts on some of my pages. This impressed me, since I used to read blogs such as ProBlogger, and while I found them interesting, I never felt compelled to join any of the ad networks mentioned. My favourite post is “Guide To Making Money Online With Blogging,” in addition to a couple of others on a similar theme.
