Feedback: New Year’s Resolutions For Driving Your Blog’s Growth
Well, another year is in the bag. 2007 was a good year for me and my family, and I hope you all prospered in 2007 as well. Now that 2008 is upon us, I’m sure that we’re all looking ahead, thinking about things we’d like to improve about ourselves, our careers and our web sites.
For 2008 I resolve to not be as lazy about producing content for my web site, and to always have more than one iron in the fire on the major projects so that missed deadlines don’t hinder my goals. I also resolve to keep doing the things I’ve been doing so that my traffic continues to increase, and I am able to pursue more private sponsors and make my site more profitable. Ultimately I know that making my site valuable to my readers will make the site more valuable economically, so I will strengthen my mantra of “Content, content, content”.
What are your resolutions for your sites as we embark on a new year?

I’m wondering- what do you plan to execute to reach that PR7 you were gunning for a few months ago?
You already have commendable backlink power to edge you closer to that goal

All the best for your resolutions.

I agree with you, content is my resolution. I think if you build a great site with excellent content, the people will come. I’d like to see my traffic double by the end of next year.

Just curious- what other blogs do you run?

Me or Everton?
I focus my efforts entirely on AV Enthusiast, and contribute to Connected Internet. I may start another blog if I ever get motivated about a niche and a new design, but I have big aspirations for AVE and that’s where I want to spend my energy.

I’m hoping to quadruple my traffic for 2008. I know I have to focus on quality content. I probably need to write it on my forehead too just to be sure.
