CES 2008: Part 2 Cheap Knockoffs Galore
January 12th, 2008 • Related • Filed Under
We were on the discussion of fake knockoffs at CES. Next up we have some Bose Acoustimass 10 knockoffs at about $99USD/set with sub (again overheard information).

And, on the higher end even, the highly priced B&W Nautilus has a knockoff.

Forgive the shoddy photos, I was using my Vaio UX for phototaking.
I think you get the point by now. If you make it, someone at CES will rip it off.

Ive purchased some of these fakes in the past. While the UI isn’t very easy to use, they shake more features than the IPod ever does.
Like, this $30 ipod ripoff from CD-R King? It does mp4, mp3, PDFs, .Doc and so much more.
Plus, the battery is a 110ma Li-Ion cell that can be replaced
Goes to show that imitations can better their originals

bert, have you found they last very long or use batteries you can find replacements for? one would think, even if removable, that it would be near impossible to find them 6 mo from now..

I think they are impressive copies but still think originality is more key for even little companies but they are only in the business of making money
