I doubt it. From what he told me they’d had a good run at the end of the year and bookings had been slow in Jan, but new ones were about to come online.

In terms of ‘gaming’ me, Kontera could potentially do the same given the last post from Vered! Not that I mind, as long as I get paid!

I’m from Kontera, great seeing this post .

I wanted to clarify two issues that came up here:

Disappearing ContentLinksâ„¢ is an issue that rarely occurs and very few of our thousands of publishers have reported it. When users mouse over one of our ContentLinks, it makes a call to Kontera’s server where our algorithm is constantly searching for the highest paying word. A disappearing ContentLink means that the algorithm found a better word to link to, that has a higher CPC.

With regards to Kline’s comments our new Publisher Center (still in Beta but to be launched for all our network members within several weeks) includes many new reporting options and other features that will benefit our publishers. I’ve never used either company…but $60/day sounds nice. I know that’s with over 500,000 page views per month though.

BTW, I saw your update to the post…I wonder what they mean it will be sorted out in a few days? Did your account manager just decide that since you put this post up ragging on them?

Theres also no way to check payment history.
no way to check earnings since last payout.
no way to check when/if a payment was sent for last period.
no way to set up the paypal payment mentioned above on their website

not to rip on the company, but their reporting is awful, so if that is something important to you, i would look elsewhere.

that being said, i still use them on a couple of my sites.

Kontera is rather sketchy. Theres no reporting, no real management, no way to add multiple sites, etc.

They sent my first check paid to the order of the website name, with no mention of contact information, despite me asking otherwise. I recently changed address and theres no way to access that information on their website, so i need to send anotehr manual request.

Just try to find any sort of good reporting on their site.. It’s not there.

It feels very amateurish, at best.

i never tried intellitext ..but kontera is doing just fine for me also it would be great if you could roll out comparison between the two services as per traffic and revenue.

Everton my manager at Intellitxt told me that it is advertiser related and will sort out in a couple of month as this seems to be a usual trend.
