Feedburner Feed Counts Playing Up Again?

View Comments January 24, 2008 | Everton

My feedcount is down to 7 today – it hasn’t been that low since my first week back in May 2005!!!

I’m guessing that Feedburner’s stats are playing up again.  Has anybody else’s Feedburner count swung dramatically today?

  • Update

Problem was the updated version of the Simple Tags plugin I was using. I've disabled it for now
  • Hmmmm

I think it's a plugin that I've updated that's causing the problem. I'll need to disable them one by one to find the culprit :-(
  • Glad you got your feed count fixed, but your feed doesn't seem to be updating. The latest item in your feed is "Joomla! 1.5 Stable Released," which was posted on Friday.
  • So - it is fixed, but nobody knows what caused it? That is not so encouraging...
  • Not sure what the problem was but, but I restarted lots of stuff, contacted feedburner etc and now it seems to be working
  • I only see 3 on yours now. I received this post in my feed reader so it must be a text only glitch.
  • could be a plugin problem?
  • I'm not receiving updates anymore from Connected Internet in my feed reader. I wondered why this was happening, so I came here to check it out. Clicking on your feed button says that Feedburner can't retrieve your feed. I'm subscribed through www.connectedinternet.co.uk/feed/ though. I'm not subscribed through your feedburner link.
  • Wow that's a shocker. While we all know it's another glitch in the system, it's still surprising to see it like that.
  • *laughing* although this is not very funny - I just about had a heart attack when I saw your feedburner number today... have you heard from them? Is there anything to be done?
