Added Two New Comment Plugins

I’ve just added two new WordPress plugins to my site that will make it easier for users to leave comments:

  1. WP-Ajax Edit Comments: WP Ajax Edit Comments (for WP 2.1+) allows users and admins alike to edit and delete comments on a post for 15 minutes (user-defined). Great little plugin that worked straight ‘out of the box’.
  2. Comment Quicktags: After trying a few plugins, I finally found a plugin that allowed me to add quicktags to my comment form. Thanks Ibrahim!

Enjoy.

  1. WP-Ajax Edit Comments seems a little buggy – it flashes are dark line all the way across the browser screen in FF for about 10 secs before re-adjusting to be just above the comment box – it is an interesting idea, but I think it is probably not really necessary… cuz I donut eber missspell wurds ;)

    By the way something is really slowing the blog down today… I would do some more testing with these plug-ins E.

    @Mark

    I don’t know what the problem is – I’m using FF2 and I don’t see any lines.

    The site seems to have slown down – I think Tribal fusion and Pay Per Play ads are the culprits.

    The comment quicktags are very handy.

    BTW you can also use the “LMB^Box Comment Quicktags” for the tags in the comments. I am planning to add this one to my site.
