Join Casale Media To Gain More Control Over Your Ads And Higher CPMs

Over the last couple of weeks ago I’ve been experimenting with new ad networks to see if I can improve the earnings from my various ad positions. Today, I’ve started running ads from a new network, Casale Media, that not only lets me have full control over what ads are running, but more importantly what eCPMs I get.

Casale Media works in a similar manner to other ad networks, but provides more control over campaigns than I’ve seen with other networks like Tribal Fusion. Once a site is accepted, Casale Media start serving ads from the various campaigns that they have sold. Publishers can control which ads are displayed on their site by setting up which types of ads e.g. text-based, dating etc are acceptable. Minimum CPMs can also be added for each type of ad unit that Casale (popunder, leaderboard, skyscraper and medium rectangle) to ensure that each ad performs to a minimum required level.

What I find very impressive about Casale Media though, is the amount of control available over individual campaigns.  In a few clicks it is possible to display all the ads being run on a site and to sort them by average CPM, eCPM, Clicks etc.  This allows you to very quickly see the actual banners running, and if you don’t like the creatives, disable them. If you’re not a fan of excessive animation, Casale Media even highlights these banners so that you can review them quickly. There’s even an option to automatically ban advertisers from ever appearing on your site again.

Being able to quickly disable campaigns with low eCPMs is fantastic.  Although, disabling too many campaigns could lead to a lower fill rate, I’d much rather do this than have an annoying banner displayed that is only earning a few cents, but annoying my readers.

Casale should interest a lot of bloggers as well, as the entry criteria is a lot lower than networks like Tribal Fusion. Only 10,000 unique visitors per month is required, which is much less than other networks that require around 200,000. If you are a smaller publisher, then I’d recommend checking out Casale as it really could help you better monetise some of your poorly performing units.
