Friday Fun: Dwight Howard Superman Dunk Videos
Everton | Mar 07, 2008 | Comments 2
I haven’t been a big follower of basketball since I was living in the States in 1997 and since Michael Jordan retired, but I do like to watch the dunking contents.
The latest dunking sensation is Dwight Howard aka Superman and his range of dunks is awesome. Admittedly it does help being 6′11′, but even still he’s great to watch. What I particularly like is how Dwight Howard is always trying to do new dunks, and the videos below are a good selection of his ‘work’.
Enjoy!
Here’s Dwight Howard’s 2008 winning Superman dunk:
Ok, one more with the right music!
A good Dwight Howard effort from 2007 that deserved more credit:
And finally, who says big guys can’t dance?
And here’s a bonus video of an unknown:

Thats pretty good! I wonder how well he can actually play basketball.
@ian well Dwight Howard is the leading center for orlando magic! Avg atleast 15 rebounds a night and about 15 to 20 pts or more…
I wonder how shaq feels when his tag “superman” was stolen from him hehehehe..
If you watch the superman dunk he did, You’ll notice that its not actually a dunk! he shot the ball to the ring which didn’t matter because that is the creativity that NBA fans were looking. I think the dunk contest hasn’t been this creative for years hehe.
and additionally, Dwight Howard is one of the few Tallest Player to actually win a dunk contest. Most winners are small guards and forwards.
