Nokia did announce basic "green" handset few months ago, I guess major producers are getting more environmentally responsible these days. Thanks for this post. I have never made a decision to buy an electronic device by considering it’s eco friendliness. I guess this type of issues are getting more relevant these days. Nokia did announce basic “green” handset few months ago, I guess major producers are getting more environmentally responsible these days.

Maybe soon when announcing their new handsets, companies will introduce recyclability index :)
