Pictomio: Impressive Photo Viewer And Manager
Everyone’s got tons of images saved on their hard drives. Pictures of family and friends, vacation photos, images of birthdays and events, pictures of their pets, and images taken from the web. Some of you organize your photos by placing them in different folders with detailed labels. Most of us, however, have the images scattered across different folders and drives.
If you wanted to view your entire image collection, how easy would that be? Would you even remember where you saved all your photos? An easy solution would be to download an image manager, but you would still have to spend some time looking for one with features you like.
How about an image viewer that’s packed with features and is free? Pictomio is a free photo viewer and manager for Windows XP and Vista that not only lets you organize your photos, but lets you create slide shows of your images with transitions as well.

Pictomio lets you browse all your images or you can just drag and drop them into a virtual photo album. You can sort your images by date, category, or even by rating. The application includes an integrated Exif editor that lets you view, edit, and save meta data associated with JPEG images.
You can easily create slide shows with the images of your choice complete with transitions.

Another interesting feature is the 3D image carousel which lets you flip through your photos in a 3D display.

Did I mention it was free?

What’s an advantage of using this over Picasa for example, which I used to use for Photo Management?

@Adam:
I have Picasa too and it works well enough for me. Both are basically the same. I like Pictomio’s interface, that’s why I use it as well
