Customise Your Browser Homepage With HomePagle

I’m not sure who the HomePagle service will appeal to….maybe I’m just too old and unable to  see the point of the service.

HomePagle, who purchased this sponsored review, allows you to create a free custom internet homepage using either your own picture, or one from their image library.  Once the image is uploaded a custom homepage is created like below with your image set as the background.

Astounding.  You may notice that each page includes a google search engine, where HomePagle receive money for any clicks on sponsored links, which is how the service makes money.   I bet the Homepagle guy’s will take home a decent cheque each month for about a week’s worth of coding as I’m sure there are lots of kids around the world who will want to do this.

I guess I don’t really see any advantage with a service like this and, well, setting up your own site.
