Forbes Blog Network To Start April 15th
I got an email this morning from my Forbes account manager saying that paying test banners are due to start on April 15th.
I’m quite excited about the potential of the Forbes network, as if the $10-20 Gross CPMs do materialise, then it will nearly double this site’s overall earnings:
…starting as soon as next Tuesday, April 15 we will be able to run test ad campaigns. Running these ads on your blog will make you money.
…..
Initially Forbes.com’s house ads will be displayed. As soon as the paying test campaign is available, you will receive notification directly from Adify. Revenue producing advertising campaigns will automatically post to your blog replacing the Forbes House ads.
I’ll keep you posted.

CAN YOU GIVE MORE DETAILES ?

I noticed a little money coming in today as stated. Since it’s only the test, it’s hard to judge, but I’m not seeing anything like $10 CPMs.
I also don’t expect that they’d have 100% fill rate at those prices. If they do it is a game changer as you note.

@Lazy Man
My stats say $6CPM which is good for an initial trial, and much better than what I earn from any other CPM network. If I add 3 units to my site then even at $6CPM that will add an extra $4000pm on top of what I make from Tribal Fusion at the moment - not an amount to be sneered at.

Yes my stats have the $6CPM number as well. The percentage of paying ads that I’m getting during this test isn’t great. Perhaps when the test is over it will deliver more ads that pay.
The other thing to note is that Forbes is supposed to be sending us traffic from their site at some point. If that’s significant, you’ll have to revise that $4000pm number upwards :-).

I am with the same CPM as you mentioned but recalculated in EUR. I hope this will be changed.

Has anything changed on your CPM? Which banner from forbes displays the ads?
I currently on see an eCPM of £0.50 on my site which is I don’t think is a lot, what should I be expecting?
