I often go to theme parks with friends, and I do have a Blackberry for when I am out of the office as it allows me to keep in touch with my emails. I'm not going to sit and use it all day when I am on a day out, but I would certainly want to check it a couple of times during the day. I don't see why someone should be made an example of if they are not with any young children.
