Starcraft – A Quick Trip Down Memory Lane

With Starcraft 2 announced last year, the anticipation for Starcraft 2 is increasing every day. No one knows when the game will be released yet though.
So while we wait for Starcraft 2, fans of Starcraft are busy creating videos, trailers and blogs about the next version. One fan however went the opposite way.
“Luckyfool” has created this video called “Starcraft 7 years in 7 minutes.. a history of patches”. Personally it was a great flashback. I was amazed by the graphics back then, but looking at it now…
The screen shots from Starcraft 2 looks very promising, but I’ll show you those in a later post. First enjoy a trip down memory lane.

Its about time they came out with a new one, what an awesome game. Are they going to make it online.
A trip down memory lane indeed! Starcraft was my introduction to multiplayer LAN gaming and I still love the game. Can not wait for Starcraft II, it is going to rock!
Yes, great teaser but, it is a pity that no commitment to the launch date is being made.

Startcraft was never about graphics for me. It was always that obsessively addictive gameplay, and engrossing story lines. As long as Blizzard remembers that #2 should be frakkin’ amazing.
