Axon’s new RC Hovercraft uses no wheels employs massive lift by jetstreams…allowing it to race about 1 inch above the ground. At overdrive, this baby can hit speeds up to 45MPH. That’s bloodcurdling fast for a vehicle this size. And there’s more. Adding to the futuristic shape, this lithe anti-gravity racer sports shimmering white and blue lights in the undercarriage and fuselage. Race it down a deserted highway and folks would swear a UFO- albeit a tiny one just landed.
Oh wait. In case I wasn’t clear about it, this is an RC. You can’t ride it, but you can remotely control it. Controls are available via a 3 channel 2.4Ghz radio (hmmm… that may interfere with wifi). It’s body is nearly indestructible (even when it slams at 45mph into your suburban).
Most folks would find the $249 price tag a bit hefty, but if you have the cash, I’d say go for it. Here’s one neat toy that’d get your heart all a-flutter!
