There’s an Armani phone. And now there’s a Prada phone v2.0. The device aims squarely for the fashion conscious diva.
Notwithstanding that, it’s sure to whet the appetites of techboys as well.
The Prada II is a joint partnership between cellphone giant LG and. The first iteration looked like an afterthought of capabilities. What was LG thinking, slapping on such a sloppy features like mere 2.5G connectivity and 2 megapixel camera on it’s flagship? It’s like buying a Louis Vuitton that doesn’t come with a lock and its signature monogram hide!
But rematch time and LG boasts an impressive Prada successor to counter the arrival of the Iphone 3G. This new Fashionista delight features a slide out QWERTY keyboard allowing for easier input rather then using an on-screen touch based keyboard. Its peeophole integrates 5 mega pixels showing off a a Schneider-Kreuknach lens. Connectivity is the standard Wi-Fi, 3G (up to 7.2Mbps) HSDPA and the Prada also features TV-Out and an FM radio.

The PR people over at LG touts that the Prada II will be even more focused on the overall design/user experience. Even better, Prada designers will be closely involved in making the custom themes, touch UI, built-in ringtones and cellphone accessories for Prada 2 phone.
