Within the past couple of weeks, I finally sold out and purchased my first product from Apple. And why would I go with anything else besides the iPhone. The previous month or so I was doing research on MP3 players that all had these features, but they were all on separate devices. Features, such as Wi-Fi, touch screen capabilities, GPS, web access, and of course e-mail. I still am finding it amazing the amount of features this slick thing can be.
In the beginning, the G1 iPhone, I was in awe at what it could do, but I wasn’t sold on it. It didn’t have much more then any other smart phone, not to mention slow Edge speeds and no GPS. So, this past summer when the G2/3G iPhone came out, with all of this and the release of the app store, I was sold. So sold, that I even bought out of my Verizon contract and moved over to At&t.
The App store from Apple, simply amazes me with some of the products they are releasing. Whether it be for managing your Netlix account, tracking you shopping lists, GPS based pedometers and of course lots and lots of games. There are also a few recommended apps for us bloggers out there. For either running your blogs on a daily basis, coming up with creative stories or communicating to your readers. I have come up with five great and free apps.
