I have been using Listio for a quite while now. I use it to find out some websites, where I can get day to day news and awesome resources and who update on a daily basis. I share this information with my team and make them work on that. Thanks for providing me the other two best resources too...

Glad to have read this post. Never occurred to me that there could be a directory for these types of site. The best part is that they list sites which offer some great and innovative applications.

Your post made me want to discover further and I came across awards for Web2.0 sites (seomoz.org/web2.0). Its a good list to read, cause all the time we check out sites in categories related to our interest. So it becomes a discovery to see interesting sites on the other site

Regarding the GoWeb20 site, it actually sends a steady stream of traffic. I have a site that was listed with it in beginning and still get traffic. Also, in regards to traffic, KillerStartUps sends a good burst of traffic then it tapers off to nothing.

Thought people who work on/with Web 2.0 sites would like to know about the benefits of being listed.

Thank you for a short review of these sites. I've been looking for some decent Web 2.0 content to sign up to, and my usual site is becoming a little... boring.

@ Wareprise.
I use http://www.programmableweb.com too, to find Web 2.0 stuff.

Thank you for a short review of these sites. I’ve been looking for some decent Web 2.0 content to sign up to, and my usual site is becoming a little… boring.

@ Wareprise.
I use http://www.programmableweb.com too, to find Web 2.0 stuff.

The Museum of Modern Betas is always quite interesting

I find these site a real test of my self-discipline. The temptation to sign up to dozens of services that I'll never use is overwhelming, and just when I think I've kicked the habit I'll find that one killer service in every thousand that makes it worthwhile, and back I go to square one.
