How YOU Can Build a Money Churning Monster that Brings in A Tidal Wave Of Cash

How many of you have choked on email full of empty promises?

“Earn $998,000 In Your First Year Online… and wait… there’s MORE…”

Or:

“Make $40,559 Each Month Working Only 1 Hour a Month”

I can rant on and on about internet businesses chockful of stale promises. They include everything from dropship sites, made for adsense sites, and regurgitated article directory sites.

A small percentage- say 1% – of the claims can be true. The rest is outright scam. And of the 1% that tell the truth, few rarely share about the 500% work needed. They make it look easy. And it puts unrealistic expectations in your head.

Many of my friends venturing into ebusiness ask me for advice on how to hit the ground running. They desire the same riches that make people like John Chow, Everton Blair and Shoe Money live the good life. “I want to make $500,000 in my first month with 2 hours of work.” Woops. Looks like they’ve been visiting scam sites promising the stars. It’s already a failure before getting started.

I urge them never to believe the hype of fast money with next to no work.

They’re my favorites and illustrate how easy it is to walk into ebusiness with high goals and abruptly drop off a cliff of unmet dreams.

Let me share you a few characteristics to know you are about to be scammed

1. Amazing Promises of Making Specific Amounts of Huge Piles of Cash in a Week

True you can make millions with a web business. I have- particularly when flipping websites at sitepoint.com or digitalpoint forums. You can also do it with well targetted adsense sites or with the sale of high value goods. But these sites take work. Lots of work. There is no way you can start a zero site today and have it churn in $1M next month. You have to consider numerous factors like:

-online marketing

-optimization

-PPC ads

-content

-actual traffic

-competitors

If it were easy to manipulate such variables (and manipulation takes CASH and WORK), then every geek and his dog would be an internet maven by now. There are billions of sites out there. I’m sure only 1% make money.

2. Dizzying Pictures of Money and Wealth

I’ve visited a few sites bragging an extravaganza of Rolex watches, Mercedes CLKs and even an island or two. Then I’d do a domain check. Turns out the GetRichQuickSite is hosted off the coasts of Africa with contact addresses in a back alley slum in Bangkok. No doubt it’s a one man operation originating from a rented room full of smelly socks.

Be warned. Websites that flash the cash and glitter aim for one thing- to work up your greed. They’re saying “Buy Me and you can Buy These!”

Fall for the trap and you make the scammers richer. You’re rewarded with a flattened wallet.

3. Zero Work Required

No work required? Then work your way out of the room. Fast!

Economics 101 says it all. If you don’t create value for others, people won’t send cash your way. We live in a society where exchange of goods is the only way to go. There are no free lunches. Don’t work? Don’t get paid. It’s that simple.

I sometimes say that my websites and brick and mortar businesses work on automatic pilot. But that’s only because I already spent a few years building up the foundations and staffing it with a few good men (and products). People who like what you have will invest. If you have nothing, then close up shop. If there’s only one rule I can give about becoming fantastically rich, it’s this: create value. Lots of it. Then market it to the whole world.
