Changes To Google Adsense Email Notification Options
Everton | Apr 02, 2009 | Comments
Google have started writing publishers to inform them of changes to their email notification preferences. Now in addition to the newsletters and surveys, publishers can receive personalised optimisation tips, webinar and event invitations, and news about special promotions and giveaways.
I’m not sure how personalised the messages will be, but I’m sure most publishers will welcome any tips that help them make money. Adsense are by far the friendliest ad network in my opinion, although I have a suspicion that their rev share is fairly low. However, they are very approachable, and in the UK I even have a rep I can speak to who does periodic calls with me to help me optimise my sites.
We’ve updated our email notification preferences.
In addition to the newsletters and surveys that you’re currently signed up to receive, you can choose to receive messages like personalised optimisation tips, webinar and event invitations, and news about special promotions and giveaways. Because you chose to receive newsletters and surveys when you signed up for AdSense, we’ve updated your preferences to reflect the two new categories for newsletters and market research. Please take a minute to look over your options, then visit your Contact Preferences page to confirm your selections.
