Just because Twitter offers us to write 140 words per message doesn’t mean we should limit our message by excluding long Url’s from it. There are services like Tinyurl that can help you shorten long urls. Recently Dot TK has unleashed their new URL Shortening service known as “Tweak“. The company claims that it will provide you with the shortest possible? links available today.
The CEO of Dot TK, Joost Zuurbier said that usually other companies uses a short domain name and add a six character suffix behind it to identify the link while Dot TK will identify the link directly by the domain name. This will help them make each link at least 6 characters shorter than any other Url Shortening service.
To get started simply paste your URL in the content box and click next
Once done, it will provide you the converted link. You can then copy the url and tweet your message or simply enter your username/password, type your message and click Tweet it to send your message from the same page.
Tweak converts the domain name to as low as five characters in length, creating the shortest URL a URL shortening service can provide today.
