Activision announced DJ Hero, Guitar Hero 5 and Band Hero

The popular American Video game developer and publisher, Activision has just announced three new game titles to extend the Guitar Hero gaming franchise. This includes  DJ Hero, Guitar Hero 5 and Band Hero. It’s been revealed that the turnable controller of DJ Hero will be used to create original mixes from hip-hop, R&B, Motown, electronica and dance songs.

On the other hand Guitar Hero 5 will feature some of the hottest rock and roll artists along with the classic rock bands. It will give players an unprecedented level of control over the way they play the game with the avility to drop in and out of songs. Furthermore they will also be able to change band members, instruments and difficulty levels on the fly.

Last but not the least the Band Hero promises to deliver an exciting music collection that will feature top 40 hits designed to expand the appeal to a broad family audience who can play together on the drums, bass, guitar, microphone while experiencing a new genre of music.

  • I was on Brighton Pier the other weekend and they have the first in the UK version of Guitar Hero the Arcade game. They were running a competition on it and it was absolutely packed, the only time I have seen more people crowded round an arcade machine was the launch of Sega Rally 8-player at Sega World in London.
