The Samsung LED 7000 is one of the thinnest and clearest TVs available on the market.

LED backlighting overcomes two of the problems that LCD TVs face, low contrast ratios and less deep blacks.  LED screens also deal better with fast moving images like in video games and sports, which is a problem with most LCD screens.  The 100MhZ Motion Plus technology can be further adjusted for judder and motion blur independently.

As with the latest range of TVs the LED 7000 is a connected device, allowing access to the internet.  A host of web-based content from Yahoo! properties can be accessed, including Flickr, news, weather and finance.  The interface is widgets-based, and a development kit is available for other content partners to create widgets.

These features do come at a price though, with the Samsung LED 7000 cashing in at over £2k for a 55″ screen.  This might seem aat first hand a lot of money, but I’m sure many users would be willing to pay a bit extra once they’ve seen the picture quality of the LED screen.
