  • Thanks Everton for a great comprehensive list. I am in the process of assigning tags to 2000 posts (yes a daunting task!), any ideas of how to do it.
I shall be adding a few of these plugins to my Wordpress blog. Have you found any to be resource hogs, I was using "brian's threaded comments" but removed it because of that problem.
  • No worries Philip. None of these plugins are big hogs as far as I am aware. The only one that might be a hog is 'top 10' but it seems ok. I disabled brian's latest comments for the same reason.

Re tagging - some tagging plugins let you search tag posts in one go (simple tags doesn't).
  • Your top commentator plugin doesn't appear to be working.
  • I took it off the site weeks ago to remove anything that drives a heavy load, but forgot to turn the plugin off - I realised when I did this list!
  • Thanks for sharing , all these plugins are very useful for a wordpress site
