Tweetable Twitter Plugin For Wordpress – Excellent!

I’ve just added a new plugin to the WordPress Plugins I use on this site.   Previously I used the Twitter Tools plugin to create new tweets whenever I created a new post.  However, I hated the way it added ‘New blog post’ to the start of all my tweets as I think this put people off reading my tweets.

I’ve just replaced it with the Tweetable Twitter Plugin.  It’s a bit more fiddly to setup, but thankfully doesn’t add any extra test to my blog tweets and adds them in their intended glory.  There are several other options available including tracking tools.

  • Thanks for the tip. I also use Twitter Tools on my blog and would prefer to lose the 'New blog post' at the beginning. I'll be trying Tweetable Twitter now instead.
