Microsoft confirmed yesterday that Windows 7 will be launched on October 22nd. to aviod a total halt to the PC market, customers buying new PCs this summer will be able to upgrade to Windows 7 via the Windows 7 Upgrade Option Program, which will provide a special offer for users wanting to upgrade to Windows 7 in October.
I’ve been running various Windows 7 builds over the last couple of months, which i’ve been covering on my other site Windows 7 News.
