Windows 7 To Launch October 22nd

Microsoft confirmed yesterday that Windows 7 will be launched on October 22nd. to aviod a total halt to the PC market, customers buying new PCs this summer will be able to upgrade to Windows 7 via the Windows 7 Upgrade Option Program, which will provide a special offer for users wanting to upgrade to Windows 7 in October.
I’ve been running various Windows 7 builds over the last couple of months, which i’ve been covering on my other site Windows 7 News. The site is definitely worth subscribing to if you want to read the latest Windows 7 News, and there’s also a very active Windows 7 Forum with over 3000 members and growing.
