From tomorrow individuals in the US, Canada and Japan will be able to pre-order Windows 7 and save up to $100 off the full prices. Microsoft haven’t set an end date for the offer, merely stating that they have a sales target in mind and that they will pull the offer once that has been met.
The Windows 7 pre-order offer will only be available from major retailers. Over on Windows 7 News we will be creating a list of links to stores that will be accepting Windows 7 Pre-orders:
- Windows 7 Home Premium: Usually $120 will be available for Pre-order for $50
- Windows 7 Professional: Usually $200 will available for Pre-order for $100
Other versions of Windows 7 will be not be available for pre-order, although they might be in the run-up to Windows 7 Launch day on 22nd October 2009. The full prices for Windows 7 has also been announced:
