Please Recommend New Ad Networks

Today is a sad day as it’s the day that Adify is forcing me to run ads from only one of their partner networks, rather than being able to aggregate campaigns across a number of networks.  Since learning of the move, my earnings from Adify have fallen significantly and I truly believe this is because advertisers have left them.  In fact, even one of the networks I use have left Adify, sending the following email direct to publishers:

Recently we’ve heard from a lot of site owners who have been frustrated by the recent change of policy at Adify with regards accounts and networks. We’ve been overwhelmed with requests to do something about the situation to make it easier for site owners to make money with ChannelFlip’s video player library.

At the same time, we’ve seen advertiser interest in what we’re doing start to really uptick, and with that demand comes the demand for better tracking and trafficking our end, but also for better user engagement through our partners and their sites.

Consequently, we’ve made the decision to move away from the Adify platform for sharing our paid-placement videos with you, and we are in the middle of setting up a new technology platform based on Brightcove, the world’s largest professional video host.

In the next few days, you will see ChannelFlip videos through Adify disappear from your site – apologies for the inconvenience, but this has to be done as part of our platform changeover. You’ll get individual emails from the team here to re-engage with you as soon as we have our new tech platform back up and running, and to offer you new (and improved!) commercial terms for working with us.

So, please bear with during this transitional period for us and we look forward to working with you guys very very soon on something very very exciting.

I’m going to run ads from my chosen Adify network Forbes for now, but I’m on the lookout for new advertising networks to pick up some of my ad impressions.  I currently work with multiple ad networks, where I use alternate urls and min CPMs to hand over imps between networks.  Currently I’m working with Vibrantmedia, IDG, Technorati and Burst Media and I’m looking to ad networks who:

  • Are interested in receiving >3m page impressions and growing each month across my four sites (www.connectedinternet.co.uk, www.windows7news.com, www.windows8news.com and www.onetipaday.com)
  • CPM not CPC based
  • Able to set min CPMs and support alternate urls

If you work for an ad network or are a reader who would like to recommend a network, cna you drop me an email (advertising@connectedinternet.co.uk) or leave a comment below.

  • EB, go for www.BuySellAds.com - Much better response than others. I prefer it over technorati alteast.
  • lol thanks for this! I used them once ages ago and I just logged on to have another look, and spotted they owed me $600 because I hadn't entered my payment details.

I'm not keen on the service, because if an ad is unsold then there is no way of showing an alternate ad as far as I can see

I actually used them and was wondering the same thing...I searched through my account and finally found a way through their redirect feature...that is probably what you are looking for.
