The corporate world is really taking to Twitter like fish to water. Today’s focus is on CoTweet, a unique twist on the mega popular Twitter that actually fashions it into, of all things, a CRM!
CoTweet is a web based service that allows you to interact with your colleagues as well as your customers via Twitter. It requires you to sign up after which you are given a control panel or dashboard like interface that (amongst other things) allows you to manage up to 6 twitter accounts per login.
In addition to that you can view & manage all messages being sent between your team and messages from customers. The interface allow you to switch between on duty and off duty individuals thus making sure tweets or tasks are not given to unavailable people.
Furthermore you even have the ability to assign tasks in the form of tweets sent by customers with a particular need to the best person who can handle a particular task.

Currently in a beta state CoTweet is free to sign up but will carry a price tag eventually.
