First of all I’d like to apologise for the outage we’ve had over the last 24 hours or so with the server. What should have been a nice simple server job, turned into a nightmare as we uncovered some strange DNS, nameserver, IP address etc settings that made the site unreachable (a bit of human error on my part didn’t help either…).
Luckily the AskApache and WiredTree experts have got everything going again, and now that they’ve tidied up all the problems that have crept in over the last four years as I’ve tinkered, moved hosts, changed domains etc they are going to optimise the server tonight, so it will run to its full potential.
