Bing’s Search Market Share In US Reaches 10%
Everton | Sep 17, 2009 | Comments
New Neilson ratings for the US search market are out and show that Bing’s market share rose to 10.7% in August, making it the fastest growing search engine.

Interesting to see that Google’s market share also increased over the period, rising to 65%. Not quite as large as it’s market share in the UK where Google has over 90% market share, but still a very dominant position. Of the search engine traffic that this site receives, around 90% is from Google.
It looks like Bing is taking market share away from Yahoo and the other search engines. It will be interesting to see where Bing’s market share ends up after the Microsoft-Yahoo search engine deal completes.
