With the rapid growth in the field of science and technology, we have seen many tech/gadget based manufacturing companies recently to delve into ventures that they haven’t tried out. The latest company to join the list is the mobile manufacturing giant, Nokia.
According to the sources Nokia plans to release its much anticipated and first of its kind a Windows 7 Netbook called Booklet3G. Sources revealed that the Netbook will run on AT&T’s 3G wireless network, thereby putting Nokia in the highly competitive market of Netbooks. Priced at $299, the Nokia Netbook surely promises much for the consumers.
What puts Nokia ahead of other Netbooks that are available in the market is its battery life. Whereas other Netbooks within the same price range offers a battery life of 3-4 hours, the Nokia Booklet 3G Netbook will provide a battery span of almost 12 hours, according to Avi Greengart, the research director at Current Analysis.
According to the ongoing reports, the initial response regarding the Nokia Booklet 3G has been quite impressive. The sleek design of the device along with high screen resolution has been well accepted in the tech world. The extended battery life (12 hours approximately) with light weight design makes the Netbook an eye candy one for the users. The only obstacle that Nokia might face is the high-end competition of the PC world. A world which is dominated by Dell and HP, the mobile manufacturing honcho, Nokia has to subtly mark its steps. The proliferation of sales of Nokia 3G Booklet can only be noticed when the company gets a foothold in the PC arena.
