After nearly a two year absence, Pimp My Blog is back! In Season 1 of Pimp My Blog, myself and the readers of Connected Internet help improve over a dozen blogs in areas that they requested help: layout, monetisation and traffic improvement.
Starting in November, I will be selecting one site each week where advice will be given on increasing advertising revenue and traffic. The chosen site will be featured on both the Connected Internet Blog and Forum, so that the lucky site will be able to tap into the combined expertise of both sets of readers.
If you would like your site to be considered then please post the following details in the forum:
- Your name
- The url site you would like to submit
- Current Page Rank/Alexa Rank
- Average daily visitors/page views
- What areas you would like to focus on -e.g. link building, increasing CTR, ad placement, affiliate schemes, template optimisation etc
- Any other goals
I will only be selecting sites for Pimp My Blog who are actively using the forum or I know are active on my blog (i.e. leaving comments). To be active all you need to do is logon to the forum and also contribute by leaving the occasional post.
Don’t forget to check out the old and current Pimps as you might see a tip that will hit the spot on your blog. Also, please help by adding your ideas to the weekly Pimps – no idea is a bad idea!
