Psystar Unveils Rebel EFI Software


rebel_efi_270x231Apple might be busy suing its clone company called Psystar, but the latter is busy in developing a software which will seemingly enable the users to inculcate Apple’s operating system in their PC. This startling move can cause more chaos in Apple which is busy on preventing Psystar from selling generic hardware comprising of a pre-installed Mac operating system.

In a statement Psystar reportedly said that its latest software termed as Rebel EFI will be available for download in Psystar’s official website. According to the sources, Rebel EFI will enable the users to download any operating system to their PC. This means that Apple’s MAC OS X Snow Leopard will be also available for download, thereby standing up as a stiff problem for the iPhone honcho who are trying to prevent psystar from selling their operating system. According to a statement released from the company, Rebel EFI supports systems comprising of Intel Core 2 Duo, Core 2 Quad and all those systems which are accompanied with Xeon Nehalem CPU. The startling revelation from the company on Thursday reportedly shook up many operating system manufacturing honcho, as from now onwards virtually anyone can download the modern operating systems via the usage of the newly introduced technology from Psystar i.e. Rebel EFI.

Sources revealed that the demo version of the software is available for download in the company’s official website, so that the users can try out the product before buying it. Although the demo version will allow the users to download Mac OS X, but with a curbed hardware operation when compared to the full version.
