The first thing I do after hearing a song I like is look for its lyrics online. I want to make sure whether or not the tune and lyrics repeatedly being played in my head, are the ones the singer intended. And looking for the right lyrics can become slightly inconvenient if I keep in mind the exclusiveness of the media player (on which the song is being played) and the internet browser (which is displaying the lyrics).
Now with Lyrics Plugin, you can see and read the lyrics while the song is being played, all in the same media player.

Currently this nifty plug-in is available for the latest versions of Winamp and the Windows’ native Media Player. Good news for you Windows 7 users out there: yes, the plug-in is also compatible with Windows Media Player 12 on Windows 7.
Recognizing that most users use Windows Media player, in this review we’ll be having a look at the Lyrics Plugin with Windows Media Player.
To get started, click on the ‘Download Now’ button located above the Windows Media Player icon. Following this, a minuscule file of ~80 KB will be instantly downloaded and installed.
Here is how the plugin on Windows Media Player 11 will look like:

You don’t search/browse/look for anything! All you do is select a song to play and the plugin does the rest! It searches the internet for lyrics and displays on the white space. It’s that simple!
Of course the internet might not have lyrics available for each and every song. In a situation like that, this image will appear on the left of the Windows Media Player:

After the song title and artist, you can see a blank screen and three options. You can either manually search the web for lyrics (by clicking on ‘Search Google’) or you can write up your own lyrics (by clicking on ‘Edit’).
With its tiny size, and perfect functionality, Lyrics Plugin is a must-have for all song enthusiasts!
